Open the invitation

On your iPad or iPhone, with TestFlight installed.

  1. Install TestFlight

    Apple's free app for testing. That is where the Word Assessor beta lives.

    Download on the App Store

  2. Open the invitation

    TestFlight opens and asks you to accept. Tap Accept.

  3. Tap Install

    Word Assessor lands on your Home Screen like any other app.

Then open Word Assessor and create an account.

What you need

  • An iPad or iPhone on iPadOS or iOS 16.4 or later.
  • The Apple Account you already use for the App Store.
  • Nothing else — no code, no payment.

Good to know

Updates

Builds expire after 90 days. TestFlight shows an Update button when a new one is ready; your data carries over.

Privacy

No ads, no analytics, no tracking — same as the finished app. Your students are visible only to your account.

If something doesn’t work

The link did nothing

Install TestFlight first, then open the link again.

I accepted, but I can’t find the app

Accepting doesn’t install it. Open TestFlight, tap Word Assessor, then tap Install.

The beta is full

Email wordassessor@clawworks.com and we’ll make room.
